1. Who controls the information
UAB PIGUS, company code 302739982, is the controller of personal information used to operate RentMotoGo. Its VAT number is LT100008056113. The rental partner is responsible for information it processes for the actual rental under its own privacy notice. The operator details and privacy contact are listed in the panel above.
2. Account and reservation information
We receive your name, email address and account credentials when you register. Passwords are stored as password hashes, not as readable passwords. Reservation information includes the driver name, telephone number, selected motorcycle, rental dates, extras, quoted amounts, accepted conditions and request status. Partner profiles include the business or owner name, company registration and VAT identifiers where applicable, location, address, optional contact telephone number, optional private manager email and phone used by administration only for urgent situations and not shown to customers, time zone, private pickup coordinates, delivery coverage, listings, photographs and rental settings. Ordinary city, island, airport and country catalog searches are handled by our own system. When you choose exact address search, or a partner searches for their pickup address, the location query and selected country, if any, are sent from our server to Geoapify. Results may be cached for seven days. Public city, island and airport locations may be retained in our location catalog; individual address and hotel results are not added to that catalog. The results page does not load an external map. Public distances use approximate pickup coordinates; exact partner pickup coordinates are not disclosed in public search results.
3. Technical and accounting information
The service uses session and security data to maintain access and protect forms. Server and application logs can contain IP addresses, request information and diagnostic details. When administration records an actual payment, refund or partner transfer, the system stores its amount, date, reference, related reservation, accounting note and the recording administrator. This preview does not collect payment-card numbers or card security codes.
4. Purposes and legal grounds
We use account and booking details to provide requested platform services and take steps towards a booking: performance of a contract or requested pre-contractual steps. We use proportionate security and diagnostic information for our legitimate interests in preventing abuse and maintaining a reliable service. Records required by accounting or other legislation are processed to meet legal obligations. Optional tracking and promotional communications, if introduced, require a separate appropriate basis; accepting platform terms is not consent to advertising.
5. Who receives information
The relevant rental partner can receive the information needed to assess and fulfil your reservation. Authorised platform administrators can access information needed for support, moderation and accounting. Service providers engaged for hosting or communications may process information under appropriate arrangements; the production providers and their locations must be identified before launch. Disclosures to authorities occur where legally required. Public listings show rental information, not customer account credentials or private transaction histories.
6. International rentals and transfers
Booking with a partner abroad can require sharing the necessary booking details with that partner. If personal information is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the operator must identify an applicable lawful transfer mechanism, safeguards and any required notice before enabling that destination. An intention to support worldwide rentals does not itself authorise unrestricted transfers.
7. How long information is kept
Account details are kept while needed to provide the account and resolve outstanding matters. Reservation and complaint records are kept for the period needed to perform the service, deal with disputes and meet applicable legal requirements. Accounting records follow the retention periods required by relevant law. Security logs should be kept only as long as proportionate to their purpose. The production retention schedule, deletion process and backup treatment must be finalised before launch; an automated deletion feature is not currently available.
8. Your rights
Depending on the applicable legal basis and circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent for optional processing without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. We may need proportionate information to verify a request. Applicable response periods and lawful exceptions apply; requesting deletion does not automatically remove records that must legally be retained.
9. Complaints and supervision
You may complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate, VDAI, at https://vdai.lrv.lt/, or another competent supervisory authority. You are not required to waive this right by contacting us first. For privacy requests, contact UAB PIGUS at info@rentmotogo.com.
10. Children, security and updates
The service is intended for people legally able to arrange a rental and meet the partner’s driver requirements. We do not intentionally seek children’s information for marketing. Access controls, password hashing and other proportionate measures are used, but no system can promise absolute security. Material changes to processing must be reflected in this notice before the changed processing starts. Read the Cookie Policy for browser storage used by this version.
